Arts Revelstoke is the lead organization for Arts and Culture in Revelstoke, producing cultural events, spearheading public art projects and developing the arts and cultural scene. They support and present diverse arts and cultural programming, including festivals, performing arts, music, theatre, contemporary dance, ballet, kids shows, community engagement projects, public art, and school events and programs.
Each summer Arts Revy holds secret outdoor events, called ‘Guerilla Gigs’, with location announcements and limited tickets made available a couple of days before the secret event. Because these sometimes sell out within seconds, their website needed fast hosting to accommodate the influx of web traffic. They also needed to be able to send out customizable event reminders and have an easy-to-navigate checkout experience.
